What we do

We offer an engaging and inspiring free level 1 Business Start-up Training & Craft Skills for residents not engaged in education, employment or training (NEET). We cover Birmingham & Solihull. Wellbeing underpins all workshops and equip attendees with life skills, confidence building and low intensity exercise to promote an enriched life.

We also welcome those who are out of the labour market, with recent convictions, those
experiencing substance dependency, victims of domestic violence,
and those looking for an unconventional career path (entrepreneurial) and in underrepresented ethnic groups. We are zero tolerance to discrimination and promote inclusivity throughout our organisation.

We also partner with aspiring and established artists to create limited edition - luxury unisex t-shirts. This also gives them (inc. NEET) a chance to earn commission from sales.

You can register for free by contacting us or via one of our referral partnerships.

For everyone else:

For those outside of the cohort, you can still benefit from our engaging and interactive and academically validated workshops at a complimentary price. these workshops are ongoing and can be scheduled at a time and date to suit you. We still have spaces available in 2023. Please remember places are limited.

About Newlife

For more than 30 years Newlife have given brand new high street items a second chance in an environmentally sustainable way.

Brand new stock donated by our brand partners is processed and any branding removed to the agreed standard by dedicated Newlife staff and volunteers, before being sent to their online store and ten retail stores across the UK to be sold at discounted prices.

Our retail operation takes donated stock which would have otherwise been destined for landfill and gives it a new lease of life, in turn helping to raise vital funds for the charity.

Volunteer and paid employment roles examples: retail support, warehouse support, product lister, campaign opportunities, stock processor & much more.
